The Category III PPE training course is dedicated to all workers who operate at height and are therefore exposed to the risk of falling.
The course is intended for various organizations and professional roles:

Training for Category III PPE is aimed at all those who must carry out work at height using fall protection devices, such as:

• Lifeline systems
• Connectors
• Anchorage devices
• Lanyards
• etc.

The objective of the course is to increase worker safety levels, prevent accidents, protect health and safety, and consequently improve work quality.
Through the course, participants will gain knowledge of the hazards associated with working at height and, through appropriate training and instruction, learn how to correctly use PPE.

Reference legislation

Training for Category III PPE is regulated by specific legislation: Legislative Decree of 9 April 2008 No. 81, as amended and supplemented by Legislative Decree of 3 August 2009 No. 106.
The decree establishes the employer’s obligation to provide training and instruction to workers on the correct use of Category III safety equipment.

Through its Category III PPE training course, the Scuola Italiana Anticaduta aims to train workers in the proper use of fall protection equipment through dedicated theoretical and practical courses.
