Central Vertical Lifeline: Continuous Protection on Ladders
The Central Vertical Lifeline by Spider is a family of fall protection systems designed to provide continuous safety during ascent and descent on vertical ladders in industrial, civil, and infrastructure environments.
The range includes two versions, both compliant with EN 353: the stainless steel rope version and the rigid aluminium rail variant (SRT). Both solutions are suitable for a single operator at a time, offer a static resistance >15 kN, and ensure continuous and reliable protection along the entire ladder length.
Stainless Steel Rope Version
- Ideal for: ladders connected to roofs, towers, silos, and industrial plants
- Composition: Uses an 8 mm stainless steel rope with adjustable end fittings, intermediate rope guides, and DP0008 fall arrester
- Mounting Method: Directly on the structure or directly on the ladder
SRT Version with Rigid Rail
- Composition: Uses an extruded aluminium rail with a dedicated fall arrester trolley
- Advantages: Provides smooth sliding, reduced maintenance, and high performance even under intensive use
