Patent fully developed by the Spider® Group: already 500 devices installed
The Sigrit® patent is an innovative device that allows constant monitoring of the use of lifelines, rails, and generally fall protection devices, for confined spaces and access control.
The innovation of Sigrit®, patented in Italy and currently being approved in all EU countries, the United States, and Canada, covers several aspects: it allows you to know whether fall protection devices are being used (or not), whether they are used improperly, and whether an event has occurred that could indicate a fall or an emergency.
Sigrit® represents a fundamental improvement in workplace safety.
(In the event of a fall, an immediate alarm is sent, as well as if the operator is not attached to the fall protection systems.) It also allows, through the Sigrit Lock® device, verification of who accesses roofs or confined spaces, thus functioning as an authorization system (those without credentials or qualifications will not be granted access).
Thanks to Sigrit Lock®, it is no longer necessary to fill out an access register at height, as it is automatically managed through the Sigrit® portal, which stores not only access history but also fall protection system data (certifications, manuals, correct installation, maintenance, etc.).
For workplace safety, Sigrit® further enhances proactive measures, for example increasing the speed of emergency response. The integrable Sigrit Lock® accessory works with an RFID badge, enabling tracking of who climbs, whether the operator has all the necessary qualifications for the tasks, and allowing various types of monitoring.
Thanks to its modularity, access control can be extended to gates, ladders, confined spaces, and more.
Since Sigrit® is entirely developed by the Spider® Group, including the software, all functions are customizable and can be integrated into management systems.
Sigrit® is fully autonomous in terms of power supply, requiring no electrical connections or solar panels. It features a battery with an estimated 2-year lifespan. Data connections are made via a SIM card linked to our portal, distributing information to recipients designated by the company: via SMS, phone call, email, or through an operations center (in agreement with an external company) monitoring high-risk areas or access points 24/7.
The Sigrit® project is the result of intense research and development by the Spider® Group, which in the last three years has installed nearly 500 devices across various sectors and with multiple customer-specific variants.
