MELLY represents a highly reliable and versatile solution, compliant with UNI EN 795:2012 and UNI 11578:2015 standards. Its innovation lies in the flexible post:

  • Integrated Deformable Post: The MELLY post is a specially designed deformable element that dissipates fall energy, significantly reducing the loads transmitted to the supporting structure.

  • Controlled Energy Absorption: During testing, the rods flex, forming an angle of approximately 20° with the horizontal. This controlled flexion ensures energy absorption without the need for additional dissipators.

  • Stability and Predictability: The system maintains cable stability and line functionality even under sudden stresses, ensuring elastic and predictable behavior.

  • Functionality and Materials: Allows simultaneous connection of multiple operators, optimizing work efficiency; devices are made of deformable posts in AISI 304 stainless steel with variable height; MELLY is ideal for creating Type C (flexible) lifelines or as Type A (single) anchor points.
