Periodic inspections of fall protection systems are carried out to verify that anchors, supports, and all system components maintain the performance expected during design and installation.
Extraordinary inspections/maintenance are required whenever there is suspicion that the system may have been compromised (severe weather events, impacts, structural modifications, falls, etc.).

During the periodic inspection, in accordance with the standard, we check:

Waterproofing conditions at fixing points
Wear, corrosion, deformation of components and cable
Cable tensioning and tightening of nuts and bolts
Functionality of moving parts and general condition of the area
Absence of infiltration, cracks, degradation, or corrosion
Condition of anchors and suitability of the supporting structure
Check for possible alterations (mold, woodworms, deterioration)
All inspection and maintenance activities of the anchoring system are recorded in dedicated registration sheets, which include at least:
Client references
A detailed technical report with outcomes and prescriptions
A photographic report
Updating of the inspection log as required by the standard
Indications for any maintenance or replacements
Preliminary analysis of documentation (project, manuals, certifications, previous logs)
Roof inspection to assess access, roof condition, and environmental conditions
Visual and instrumental checks on the components of the fall protection system
Preparation of the inspection report and update of the log
Post-inspection consultation to define any corrective actions and the schedule of future inspections
